We love the story behind rubber wood. Rubber plants are planted for production of rubber. At the end of the trees' lives, they are harvested to make a variety of products including plates.

Care instructions: 
Rinse thoroughly after every use and wipe dry with a soft cloth. Allow plates to air dry completely.
Hand-wash only. Do not microwave.
Periodically treat with food-grade mineral or food-grade beeswax to maintain the beauty of the wood grain.
